Opportunities for interns and volunteers are available through IIPT Headquarters on a frequent basis.

INTERNSHIPS
IIPT offers a limited number of internships each year to bright, motivated students who have demonstrated leadership and an outstanding record of achievement.  Internship positions are available at our headquarters in Stowe, VT.

Internships with IIPT are offered to currently enrolled or recently graduated students.  Preference is given to graduate students, however, we have accepted undergraduate students as well.

If you are interested in dedicating at least 3 months towards our organizational objectives, please send us your:

• Resume; and
• Cover letter outlining:
      - your motivations and objectives regarding the internship;
      - the period of time during which you would like to undertake the internship;
      - and any academic requirements you may have to complete the internship.

Note that we may also request school transcripts and/or references.

Internships are unpaid, however, to assist with costs of living, IIPT may be willing to provide a monthly living stipend to interns working full time.  Further details will be provided during the interview process.

VOLUNTEER
We rely on the cooperation and support of a network of volunteers that work together, often virtually, to assist with the research, logistics and other needs of the Institute.  The contribution of your time and expertise will help IIPT's continuing efforts to harness the tremendous power of the travel and tourism industry in fostering a Culture of Peace through Tourism.

IIPT previously has utilized volunteer services for a variety of projects related to sustainable tourism research, marketing, database and website management, program design, and more. 

If you have skills you would like to contribute to our program, please email us at info@iipt.org with "Volunteer Interest" in subject line.  Kindly include your:

• Resume; and
• Cover letter indicating:
      - the time commitment you are able to make;
      - suggestions of what you would like to help with; and
      - why you are interested in volunteering with us.

Volunteers are welcome to work with us either at IIPT headquarters during office hours or virtually.
